After Mirzya, it's going to be a father-son story for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra

After his last directorial Mirzya flopped at the box office, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is co-producing Fanne Khan along which stars Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao. Now, we hear that the filmmaker has locked the script for his next directorial. A source close to the development reveals, “Rakeysh has this story about a father-son relationship. It revolves around the generation gap and the changing ideologies between a baap-beta.”

The movie requires a senior actor along with someone from the younger generation, but the filmmaker is yet to cast. Adds our source, “Rakeysh has shortlisted some names, but he hasn’t approached anyone. He is currently fine-tuning the script. And yes, he is looking at casting a popular face from the younger generation with a veteran, but in case that doesn’t work out, he will introduce a fresh face with this film.”
