Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa today slammed Congress leaders charging them with making 'baseless' allegations against him and threatened to expose alleged misdeeds committed by opposition party leaders.

"Let Congress leaders debate scandals of my government in Paraliament, BJP members will give them a befitting reply", Yeddyurappa dared while speaking to the press in Bangalore on his return from New Delhi.

The Congress leaders have been making wild allegations against his government to taint its image, he alleged.

A report by lok ayukta on illegal mining recommended for recovery of Rs36 crore from former chief minister N Dharam Singh, he said and asked "did Congress take any action against that leader ?"

Yeddyurappa also hit out at allegations of filing false affidavit levelled against him by former chief minister S Bangarappa and posed question "can anyone do this ?(filing of false affidavit)".

He said he visited Delhi to invite Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for the upcoming World Kannada Literary Conference being held at Belgaum from March 11, but could not meet him.

He said he would discuss the issue of his cabinet expansion with BJP president Nitin Gadkari who would be in the city on February 20 and 21.
