A pair of Rajagopalanagar twins, aged 12, landed in grave trouble after a man, one of them had stabbed during a fight three days ago, died in a city hospital early on Friday.

The families of the twins and the deceased, Salauddin, had been locked in a feud for the past couple of years. The families stay on Andralli Main Road. The feud was over the deceased trespassing on the twins’ family property.

Salauddin, the police said, used to taunt and physically abuse the children almost daily. The children, students of Government Primary School, had been waiting for an opportunity to retaliate.
Salauddin and the twins entered into a scuffle on the night of March 29. The man started to beat up the boys. One of the twins had a pair of scissors with which he stabbed the man.

Salauddin, an automobile mechanic, was admitted to the Victoria Hospital with a punctured liver. He breathed his last around 2 am on Friday, the police said. The Rajagopalanagar police registered a case of murder against the boys.
