A female employee of a tax consultancy office at Basavanagudi has accused her employer of forcing her to shoot a pornographic video, with the allegation leading to a local social outfit attacking the office on Tuesday. However, the police said the allegation is false. At least 100 activists of Hoysala Kannada Sene ransacked the office of Rajesh Shetty, director of a tax consultancy company, on DVG Road.

The police said a female employee of the company took her complaint to the group; she did not report the matter to the police. ACP (Jayanagar) GB Manjunath said Shetty had filed a complaint two months ago, stating that some people were threatening him. The police’s investigation led them to two persons, Nagesh and Srikanth, employees of Shetty’s company.

The duo’s interrogation revealed that another employee of the company, a woman, was also involved in issuing threat calls.  The woman requested Shetty to save her from police action, and he obliged. He requested the police not to arrest her and to leave her after giving her a warning.

Two months after that incident, the woman told Hoysala Kannada Sene that Shetty and two others forced her to shoot a pornographic video. The group’s members attacked Shetty’s office on Tuesday.

The police said a case has not been registered.
