Lokayukta’s wife is ‘proud’ of his actions

After Lokayukta, justice N Santosh Hegde took back his resignation, his wife Sharada was full of pride. “I am proud of the decision he has taken; the state needs him. Whatever he has decided must be right, as he is very sensible. Earlier he was very stressed, which led him to resign from the post. But now since the government has said that they will give him all the powers and render complete cooperation, I am hoping that he will be less stressed,” she said.

She added that she was hoping that he would now not strain himself with too much of work. “He is a workaholic, but will now go easy on his work,” she said.

With regard to their holiday, when the family was planning to relax, it will be put on hold. “The family was very excited, but I am sure, with an ease in working conditions, it will be much better,” she added.
