Tragedy struck Namma Metro again, as a construction worker was injured on Monday. Puli Singh, 25, from Chhattisgarh, injured his shoulder at the underground construction site of the south ramp on KR Road.
BMRCL spokesperson BLY Chavan said: “The accident took place when Singh was trying to place a sandbag at the site. He slipped and his hand got stuck in a jet-grouting machine, causing
severe damage to his shoulder.”
Singh was taken to KIMS hospital, where he underwent surgery.
Although his condition is stable, he is being monitored closely, he said. Chavan added BMRCL will investigate the accident.
