Kannada TV actor Shabhana found dead

A Kannada television actor was found dead in her residence in Girinagar on Saturday night.

The deceased has been identified as Sri Gouri, 25, a native of Bagalkot. Her real name is Shabhana. She was found dead in her paying guest accommodation in Girinagar sixth cross.

She has acted in a Kannada serial Parvathi Parameshwara.
The police said she was depressed for a month.

Occupants of her paying guest accommodation told the police she was behaving in a strange manner recently.

She used to tell them that her soul was calling her to heaven and she would end her life.

The police said Sri Gouri’s marriage could have driven  her into depression. She was reportedly married to Nagaraj in Dharmasthala. The police are waiting for the postmortem report to ascertain if it was a suicide or natural death.
