HC stays case against Bangalore MLA S Muniraju

The high court has given an interim stay until Thursday to the Lokayukta police to investigate the charges against MLA of Dasarahalli, S Muniraju. 

Muniraju had sought a high court directive to set aside an investigation directed by the Lokayukta special court. Justice BV Pinto issued an interim stay to the Lokayukta police while giving orders regarding the interlocutory application asking for stay of the proceedings.

A private complainant, Puttuswamy, had alleged that Muniraju had claimed property belonging to his mother-in-law, Malamma.
