The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is scheduled to conduct the extended admission round counselling for medical and dental undergraduate courses on July 17, at all the seven counselling centres including Bangalore.
The KEA decision to conduct the counselling comes in the wake of a directive from the state government to initiate the admission process for pending seats which received approval from the Medical Council of India (MCI) recently.
An official release from the KEA said, “On July 17, the counselling session will begin from 7.45 am on July 17. All eligible medical seat aspirants of CET 2011 can participate and take seats.”
All seats that may be surrendered and become vacant till July 16 will be offered in this round. For details candidates can visit http://kea.kar.nic.in
However, there is no information yet on counselling for seats at the newly-opened two medical colleges and 25% seats at deemed universities.
