Bangalore motorists, avoid these roads today

In view of the mammoth function to mark the completion of 1,000th day of the BJP government in Karnataka, the city traffic police have warned motorists to avoid certain roads around Palace Grounds, where the function is being held on Sunday.

In view of the mammoth function to mark the completion of 1,000th day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state, the city traffic police have warned motorists to avoid certain roads around Palace Grounds, where the function is being held on Sunday.

In its advisory, the traffic police have asked motorists to avoid Bellary Road, Jayamahal Road, RT Nagar Main Road, New BEL Road, CV Raman Road and Outer Ring Road between 8 am and 5 pm as there will be heavy flow of vehicles carrying BJP party workers to

Palace Grounds during these hours.
The traffic police has requested those attending the rally to park their vehicles in Palace Grounds if the parking area gets filled up.

The places where BJP workers need to park their vehicles in case of additional number of vehicles are Freedom Park, Jakkarayanakere on Sampige Road in Sheshadripuram, Malleswaram playground in front of KC General Hospital and Government PU College grounds on Malleswaram 18th Cross.

While parking slots are made available for VIPs after the Palace main gate, for buses and maxi-cabs, parking is available in Gayatri Vihar, Tripura Vasini and Krishna Vihar. 

Two-wheelers will have to park near the circus grounds. Cars, other than that of VIPs, will have to enter Palace Grounds through circus entrance, while buses would must enter the venue through Krishna Vihar and Amanulla Khan entrance on Jayamahal Road.
