This year, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will get goats and sheep from Bangalore for Bakrid. Mohammad MD Ibrahim, who claims to be his biggest fan, will be sending him three goats and three sheep this year to celebrate Bakrid on November 7.

Speaking about his plan, Ibrahim said, “For the past two years we have been annually sending sheep and goats to Shah Rukh Khan. Last year, we had sent him a goat which cost me Rs 5 lakh. But that goat was very special and he (Shah Rukh Khan) wanted it.

The goat had a moon shaped scar on its forehead which fascinated the star and he wanted it for the festival.”

Ibrahim breeds goats and sheep for Id every year. This year, he had planned to send Shah Rukh Khan two goats initially. But that number rose to 6 when a close friend and a relative of Khan came to him personally asking for goats and sheep. “We had someone from Maharaja Furniture who approached us and asked us if we could supply animals for sacrifice during Id at Shah Rukh Khan’s house, and we agreed to supply,” he said.

While the goats are being prepared for being sent, Ibrahim feels proud that one of the biggest film stars in the country wants sheep from a small time sheep seller like him. “We want to send the best sheep and goats to him. It will cost around Rs12 lakh for sending it through flight. It will reach him on November 5,’’ he said.

However, while Ibrahim is busy with his plans, a source close to the Bollywood superstar told DNA that Shah Rukh has absolutely no idea about all this. Besides, the Ra.One star generally is known not to accept gifts from his fans.

Ignorance, they say rightly, is bliss — which is what Ibrahim is experiencing without knowing what is round the corner.
