The BJP office bearers in different units, cells and morchas were trying to decode the meaning of the message they received from their leaders in a one-day workshop held on Sunday at the party headquarter, Shri Kamalam. All the leaders, including CM Vijay Rupani, and Gujarat chief of party, Jitu Vaghani gave the mantra of 'do or die' hinting towards early polls of Lok Sabha.

An office bearer in one of the morchas in the Gujarat BJP said on the condition of anonymity, "The addresses of CM, Vaghani, state in charge of party Bhupender Yadav and others had one line message and that was 'do or die' mantra for Lok Sabha polls which could come early too. It was difficult to make out the exact meaning of their words but what we understood is like that. I talked to several other morcha leaders and district presidents too during a free chat session after meeting and they all also have perceived the message of our leaders same as I did(sic)."

"Vaghani said these polls are like the war, and we have to fight it with the warfare spirit. He also compared this time with the time before the war. That was a hint that polls can be announced anytime and we have to be ready to fight to finish. However, the CM said that polls would be held in 2019 only," added the morcha representative.

This was the workshop by the Lok Sabha Study and Coordination Committee of Gujarat BJP, and besides Rupani and Vaghani, Gujarat BJP in-charge Bhupender Yadav, national joint general secretary for organisation V Satish and general secretary for organisation in Gujarat Bhikhubhai Dalsaniya delivered speeches addressing the colleagues in party.

BJP's focus was also on the voters outreach programme, reorganisation of workers' strength, booth management, formation of teams for different responsibilities and tasks, and intensive tours by senior leaders across the state.

Chief minister, Vijay Rupani said, "This is final fight to realise the dream that our thousands of senior leaders who founded the party saw. When the opposition parties are fighting with each other for the PM's position, we have the leader on the same post like Narendra Modi who has clear intentions of development of nation."

Gujarat chief Jitu Vaghani said, "It is the situation like the party that prepares during the ceasefire before the war to deal with any condition. The party with well planning always win and that we have to remember that we have to be prepared as early as possible."
