3 of Guj family end life on railway track

A man, along with his mother and seven-year-old daughter, jumped in front a moving train at Makarba railway crossing around 9.30pm on Wednesday.

Anandnagar police immediately reached the spot and moved the bodies to a nearby hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Nikunj Mehta, his daughter Ramiya and mother Bhartiben. According to police, the family lived in Makarba. However, the police have not been able to ascertain the reason behind their extreme step yet.
