Irrfan Khan had been juggling between Bollywood and Hollywood for a long time
Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan passed away after suffering colon infection in Mumbai today. The actor had recently been cured of cancer, where he was getting treatment in London.
Irrfan is a known name not only in Bollywood but also Hollywood. The actor has worked in movies like 'Life of Pi', 'Jurrasic World' and 'Inferno'.

1. 'The Namesake'

Irrfan Khan appeared in Mira Nair's 2006 release 'The Namesake' as an unforgettable character Ashoke Ganguly. The actor visited US for the first time thanks to the movie, but left a mark on Nair. ‘Irrfan was always going to play Ashoke Ganguli,’ she told The Mint, adding, ‘He was completely like Ashoke Ganguli. He was like a beautiful child.’ Describing the actor, she said, ‘He could tell by looking at my face if I was happy or not with a shot.’
2. 'Life of Pi'
