Friends stand by Kajal Anand

Lawyer Kajal Anand’s father’s demise saw close friends like Rhea Pillai and Gauri Khan lending support at her Churchgate home yesterday. Kajal’s father Kukoo Anand passed away on Wednesday night. He had reportedly suffered a heart attack a few days prior and had been hospitalised.

A stream of friends and relatives of the lawyer came to offer their condolences. Some of those who paid a visit included Karan Johar, Neelam Kothari, Yash and Avanti Birla. Dino Morea, Arti and Kailash Suredranath, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey, Mehr Jessia-Rampal and Queenie Dhody. Even the rarely seen filmmaker Aditya Chopra made a quiet visit along with younger brother Uday Chopra.
