Aftermath was the first album to be composed entirely of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards’s songs. ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Lady Jane’, ‘Under My Thumb’ and the almost 12-minute long ‘Goin' Home’ were some of the songs in the album. Aftermath did not do too well, partly because of the simultaneous release of the Beatles' Revolver and Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde.
