Team India take 'army of little ones' to Australia for support

Team India have landed in Australia for the Down Under series which is set to begin from November 27.

Team India have landed in Australia for the Down Under series which is set to begin from November 27.

All 30 cricketers of the ODI, T20I and Test squads are travelling together and will observe a mandatory 14-day quarantine after landing in Australia. 

As the revised squads have been announced, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to Twitter to share photos of the players 'embracing the new normal'.

While the side are in Australia, the players have taken 'army of little ones to help us breeze through the quarantine' and support them in the series. 

1. Ajinkya Rahane

India's Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane will be playing a major role especially in the absence of skipper Virat Kohli after he leaves back to India.

 

The Delhi Capitals (DC) player will be having the support of his wife Radhika Dhopavkar and baby girl who was born last year in October.

The three ODIs will be played on November 27, 29, and December 2 at Sydney Cricket Ground and at the Manuka Oval in Canberra respectively. 

 

The first T20I will also be played in Canberra on December 4 and the rest two on December 6 and 8 at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

 

The first Test set to be played under lights from December 17 to 21 at the Adelaide Oval.
