As the Big Bash League (BBL) 10 nears its end, some of the stars, young and experienced have emerged giving some of the best performances conistently throughout the duration of the tournament. With the auction for the new season of Indian Premier League (IPL), just a few weeks away, these players have surely put their hand up for if not big bucks, getting an IPL call at least.

The eight IPL franchises released 57 players in total, and out of the remaining spots, 22 overseas players would be filled by the franchises. Given, some of these players offer their services in more than one department, they could get a few teams go after them in the mini-auction, happening next month, after being in tremendous form in the BBL 10.

Alex Carey, who played just three games for Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2020, was released by the franchise last week before the new season. Carey made a statement, a day after smashing a 60-ball century against the Brisbane Heat, which was also the first century of this season. While Ricky Ponting said that the Capitals might have a look again, but many other teams could be interested in Carey, given he keeps wickets, can open or play in the middle-order and in both gears. Carey has averaged 34.33 in the current season and has scored 412 runs in the 12 matches he has played thus far. (Image: Adelaide Strikers/BBL)

Probably the most experienced all-rounder in the format, Dan Christian could find a home at the IPL again given his exploits for the Sydney Sixers in the ongoing season of the BBL. Christian, who loves winning trophies in the T20 competitions around the world, has won eight till now, could prove to be a great option for any team, given he serves in all three departments. Christian, who previously has featured in the league for Rising Pune Supergiant and Delhi Daredevils, has taken 13 wickets in the 14 matches and scored two fifties one of them becoming the fastest in the history of the league in just 15 balls and played with a strike rate of around 180. (Image: Sydney Sixers/BBL)

The English opening batsman, Alex Hales, who hasn't featured for England for two years now has made a name for himself in the BBL, playing for the Sydney Thunder. The BBL has witnessed the best of Hales, who also feels that this is the peak of his game. In the ongoing season, Hales has amassed 535 runs, including a 51-ball ton, in 14 games, striking at 163 and smashing 30 sixes. This BBL season has also seen the re-birth of Colin Munro. The left-hander has came into his own, with playing long match-winning innings, who in the past has been criticised for throwing away after playing good looking 30s and 40s. Munro has scored 411 runs in 13 games, at an average of 34, smashing 18 sixes and striking at 129.6. (Image: Perth Scorchers/BBL)

The lanky left-armer, who became a father during the BBL season has really come into his own in this season as he has provoded important breakthroughs for the Perth Scorchers in the powerplay. Behrendorff, who has previously featured in the IPL for the Mumbai Indians, has been a victim of injuries in the past but he has look his fit best in the current season. Giving runs at just 6.7 in the 13 games, Behrendorff has picked 14 wickets in 13 games he played. With many fast bowlers likely to go for huge, Behrendorff could be a great pick given the angle he brings in, as a left-armer. (Image: Perth Scorchers/BBL)
