India's deadly trio - Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli - made sure to give Wankhede Stadium the best cricketing experience ever. The batting stars kept hitting the ball out of the park which gave India the desired total.

While all were praising the batting of India, there was one who made sure to give away his chance yet again - Rishabh Pant.

The wicketkeeper-batsman became a subject of intense scrutiny after he departed for 0 in the T20I series decider against West Indies.

Pant - who was sent ahead of Kohli at No. 3 - lasted just 2 balls as the youngster holed out at long-off while trying to accelerate from the word go.

This was the 2nd successive time in this series that the Indian skipper gave up his spot and pushed a pinch-hitter (Shivam Dube in the 2nd T20I) up the order.

While Dube grabbed onto the opportunity with his quickfire 54 in Thiruvananthapuram, Pant failed to trouble the scorers.

This is not the only T20 match Pant has been struggling with. The young lad has scored just 252 runs from 16 matches at an average of 21.00 in 2019. This comes after a disappointing year in 2018 as well -- 114 runs from 8 matches at 16.28.

Despite his struggles, Pant has found the backing of the team management. However, a section of fans are not been happy, especially when an in-form Sanju Samson is warming the benches.
