The redux of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani from Student Of The Year 2 is done and dusted. All eyes and ears are now on another super-special song from the movie — the pacy track featuring Alia Bhatt and Tiger Shroff.

Its video was shot last month under Farah Khan’s choreography. And, we hear, the chemistry between these two young actors is terrific. Before filming on a grand set created at Mehboob Studios, Mumbai, the two Gen-Now stars rehearsed. “It didn’t look like Alia and Tiger were working together for the first time. She was excited to match steps with him. They were completely in sync and their onscreen chemistry is bound to generate tremendous buzz and curiosity,” says our source, adding that the two bonded well.

Like his actionbaazi, the Baaghi 2 actor is known for his dancing skills, too. If he is grooving with hottie Alia, it will surely add to the moment.

Looks like unwittingly, actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha and wife Punam are following in the footsteps of superstar Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya. When the Big B had entered politics back in 1984, he had joined the Congress. But, when Jaya stepped into politics (2004), she chose the Samajwadi Party. And, that’s exactly what’s happened with the Sinhas. The Khamosh actor, who was earlier with Bharatiya Janata Party, is now with Congress, while his biwi has joined the Samajwadi Party recently. Interesting coincidence, no?

After being with the Bharatiya Janata Party for about three decades, Shatrughan Sinha quit, and is now part of the Congress. His daughter Sonakshi Sinha is glad that he took this step. “It was a very emotional move for him. Having been a part of the BJP for such a long time, it was difficult for him.  However, I’m happy as long as he is happy. It was a difficult step for him as I said earlier, but it’s always good to walk away from somewhere when you’re not being appreciated. I hope he finds whatever he’s looking for and the same kind of love, respect and admiration in the Congress now that he’s joined them. And I hope that he continues to do the good work, of course.”

As soon as the makers of Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao’s film Mental Hai Kya released the poster with the two actors holding a blade on the tip of their tongues, people on social media started complaining about the title. Even the Indian Psychiatric Society reportedly took offence to it and wrote a letter to the Central Board of Film Certification Chief, Prasoon Joshi, demanding that the title be removed as it is derogatory to people fighting mental illness. While producer Ekta Kapoor responded to the complaints saying it is a fictional thriller meant to entertain audiences, Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel has tweeted on her behalf. She wrote, “All I want to say is that everyone will be proud of Mental Hai Kya, the topic and subject she has chosen will trigger relevant talk and discussions around the stigma (sic).” It remains to be seen whether they will be able to retain the title or be forced to change it.

Vicky Kaushal suffered an injury while shooting for his horror film in Gujarat. He was filming an action sequence aboard a ship where he was required to run and open a door. Unfortunately, the door fell on him, hurting him badly. The movie’s crew rushed him to a local hospital, and after the treatment, he was flown back to Mumbai.

The Sanju actor not only fractured his cheekbone but also got 13 stitches on his cheek. We hear, he seems to be responding to the treatment and got the go-ahead by his doctor to travel. Vicky flew out to Russia last night for the shoot of Shoojit Sircar’s biopic on Udham Singh, who avenged the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre by killing General Dyer, the British officer responsible for the killing of over a thousand innocent civilians.

Guess who: THIS Superstar is NOT keen to collaborate with comedy-franchise maker

A top Bollywood hero recently decided that he will not be a part of a comedy franchise. Speculation is rife that a star-son (who is relatively free) is being looked at as a replacement for him. The reason why the superstar has decided to not be a part of this funny film is because he and the producer of the franchise have a volatile past history. A source says, "The actor is a reasonable guy. But he still hasn’t forgotten certain key instances of his fallout with this particular producer. Though he doesn’t speak about it openly, he hasn’t been able to get over their differences. Sincere attempts were made to dissolve the tension but even after many attempts, things didn’t work out. So, unless the project changes hands (which is also highly unlikely), the original A-lister, who actually spearheaded this franchise, will not be a part of this comedy."

Hollywood superstar Will Smith has visited India on more than one occasion. And though he has long gone back to the US, he constantly keeps posting about India on his social media. The Suicide Squad and Bright actor deluged his social media handle with images expressing how he is missing India. He felt at his best and awakened after his visit here. He wrote, “Traveling to India and experiencing the colours, people and natural beauty has awakened a new understanding of myself, my art and the truths of the world.”

Interestingly, this is not the first time Will has expressed his love for our country. A few days ago, the Hitch star shared his experience of featuring in a Bollywood film and taking auto rickshaw rides. In a recent post, he’s seen enjoying an auto rickshaw ride, with the caption, “When you’re exploring India, there’s only one way to get around. Watch Will Smith tuk tuk his way to Bollywood on the finale of Will Smith’s Bucket List.”

After Hrs has already reported that like the first two instalments, the third outing in the cop drama, Dabangg 3, will reportedly have a special song featuring Mouni Roy.

Now, we hear that this pacy number will be about a cream. Says a source, “After Zandu Balm in Dabangg (2010) and Fevicol in Dabangg 2 (2012), it’s going to be a beauty cream brand that is looking for an association with Dabangg 3’s item song. Work on the song is underway and there’s still quite some time before it will be picturised.” Currently, Salman Khan is shooting for the film in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh. Later, he is expected to shoot a schedule in Mumbai followed by one in Wai in Maharashtra, where the previous two parts of this franchise were shot.
