Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu was an Indian romantic comedy film co-written and directed by Shakun Batra in his directorial debut and produced by Karan Johar. The film starred Kareena Kapoor Khan and Imran Khan in lead roles. Avantika made a sweet cameo in the film in the song "Aunty Ji' as she danced with Imran.
2. Imran Khan hits on Avantika Malik in 'Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na'

Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na was Imran Khan's debut film opposite Genelia Deshmukh. Directed by Abbas Tyrewala and produced by Aamir Khan, the film was a success among critics as well as audiences.
What stood out in the film, however, was Avantika's cameo as she played a girl Imran could be seen flirting with, in a bar.

Avantika Malik and Imran Khan had a fairytale love story. Avantika married her 8-years boyfriend Imran in 2011 following an 11-month-long engagement.
She then gave birth to her 1st child, a daughter Imara Malik Khan at a Mumbai hospital in 2014.
There were reports that the couple is headed towards a split, but they have not confirmed the same yet.
Avantika’s mother Vandana had also rubbished the reports. She had said, "We all read the news, and let me tell you that there’s no such thing. There are some differences, which will be sorted anyway." Asked if divorce was on cards, Vandana said, "Absolutely not."

It was reported on Wednesday that the Delhi Belly actor has quit acting and one of his closest friends in the film industry and actor Akshay Oberoi confirmed the same.
Akshay told Navbharat Times, "My best friend in Bollywood is Imran Khan, who is no longer an actor because he has quit acting. As far as I know, there is a better writer and director inside Imran, I do not know when he will direct his film himself, I am not going to put any pressure, but as a friend, I think so he will direct his film soon."
