Prince Harry and on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy apparently clambered into the boot of a car to avoid being pictured together while leaving a private members club last week.

But they were spotted, sparking speculation that they are rekindling their relationship, reports the Daily Mail.

The couple, who split last autumn after five years together, were said to have been smuggled out of exclusive Beaufort House on Chelsea's King's Road at 4am on Sunday morning in the boot of a Jaguar.

Today's Sun and Mirror report that luggage was cleared to the front seat of the chauffeur driven car before security staff helped the Prince and Davy into the boot.

Their night out had sparked speculation that they may get back to together, after ending their relationship last year.

However, despite spending an evening together, it is not thought they have rekindled their romance.

The night was a one-off where they spent time catching up, according to a source.

Davy only returned from South Africa on Friday, following six months trekking in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mauritius to mark the end of her postgraduate law studies.
