Women long-jumpers MA Prajusha, Mayookhi Johny and Reshmi Bose stole the show in the Indian Grand Prix in Bangalore today, turning in personal-best performances.

Significantly, all the three comfortably crossed the 6.4 metres mark, considered a key benchmark, at Sree Kanteerava Stadium.

Prajusha of Railways picked up the gold with a 6.55 metre jump (her previous personal best was 6.36 metres), pushing Mayookhi of ONGC, who came up with 6.49 metres (6.46m), to the second spot. With 6.46 metres, Reshmy of Railways (6.35m) picked up the bronze.

Barring the trio's creditable feat, sparks did not fly in the competition, where the number of events were pruned to six from the original 13 because of insufficient entries.
