Steve Smith surpasses Don Bradman's record in Sydney test; becomes highest Australian run-getter in test series against India

Australia Test skipper Steve Smith has surpassed the record of batting legends Don Bradman and Ricky Ponting to become the highest run getter by an Australian in a four Test series against India.

With Smith scoring 71 in the second innings in Sydney Test, he accumulated a massive 769 runs in the ongoing four matches Test series against India, thus surpassing Ponting's 706 and Bradman's record of 715, News.com.au reported.
