London: Fulham has been dealt a heavy blow to their survival hopes in the Premier League following a 2-2 draw with Hull City at the Craven Cottage on Saturday.

Fulham was bidding to claim a vital third win in four home games although they lacked the necessary urgency to take control in a first half virtually bereft of chances.

According to the BBC, Fulham led through a curling shot from Ashkan Dejagah and Fernando Amorebieta's headed first goal for the club early in the second half.

However, their hopes to stay safe from relegation were severely dented when FA Cup finalists Hull, who put six past Fulham at the KC Stadium just after Christmas, hit back as Nikica Jelavic nodded in and Shane Long then headed a dramatic late equaliser, the report added.
