Technopark TBI wins prestigious award

Technopark TBI (technology business incubator) has bagged the prestigious AABI (Asian Association of Business Incubation) International Award for the best incubator for the year 2012.

The award, instituted by AABI, will be handed over to the Kerala officials at the AABI international conference in Seoul Nov 29.

The award will be received by P.H.Kurian, principal secretary, IT, and K.C. Chandrasekharan Nair, managing director, Technopark TBI.

AABI promotes the development of incubators and gives recognition to an incubator based on performance.

TBI here has so far incubated more than 165 start-up technology firms in their facilities in the past nine years.

TBI identifies potential entrepreneurs with innovative ideas, nurture them through different phases of growth, until the business takes off to a level where it becomes a sustainable venture.
