Spotify and Pandora now officially integrate with Amazon Echo

Until now, if you owned Amazon's smart home hub and speaker system you had to tell Alexa to cue up something from Spotify or Pandora every time you wanted to listen to something other than the default Amazon Prime Music service.

Amazon Echo has always been able to support other streaming services, but now you can set either Spotify or Pandora as the default. It means that owners can now ask the Alexa assistant to play a song, rather than tell her to look for it on Pandora or Spotify, and then play it. Both Spotify and Pandora have updated their site to explain how to enable the new features.
