Godhra accused dies in jail

AHMEDABAD: An accused, involved in the burning of Sabarmati Express in Godhra, died on Saturday in Sabarmati jail here after a prolong illness, jail officials said.
    
The accused, Hussain Mohammad Dhobhi (65), reportedly involved in the burning of S-6 coach of the train, died on Saturday after a prolong illness, they said.
    
Dhobhi was arrested after the train burning incident on February 27, 2002, in which 59 'karsevaks' coming from Ayodhya lost their lives.
    
He has been lodged in Sabarmati jail since 2002.
