CHANDIGARH: The BJP Government in Rajasthan will have to pay a very heavy price in the next assembly elections, as it had done no good to any sections of the society during its four and a half year rule in the State.

The Congress party will definitely be voted to power in the next assembly election in the State, said Deepender Hooda, Election Incharge of district Hanumangarh and young MP from Rohtak while addressing 'Sadbhawna Sankalp Sammelen' organised by the Congress party in village Amarpurajalu Khat in Sangriya Assembly Constituency on Sunday.

He also visited many villages of Pilibanga alongwith Nathwana and Shahapini where he addressed public meetings, a release quoting Hooda said here.

He said that the people of Rajasthan were totally disappointed with the state government, as it had indulged in firing on them, not to speak of fulfilling its election promises. He asked how could a government which did not understand the problems faced by the poor people and farmers, do any good to them.

Coming down heavily on the Rajasthan State Government, Hooda said that the State Government was functioning in aristocratic manner which had triggered grate resentment among the masses.

On the contrary, the previous Congress Governments in the State always worked for the welfare of the poor and the farming community. Congress party never compromised with the interest of the farmers.

Lashing out at Rajasthan Chief Minister, Vasundhra Raje, Hooda said that the people living in palaces could not think for the welfare of the farmers and the poor people.

"Only those people who had worked with them could think of their welfare and take decisions for their uplift. The hand of Congress party had always been with the poor people," he added.
