CPI(M) responsible for Tripura's downfall: Congress

AGARTALA: Opposition Congress in Tripura alleged that the Left Front's misrule and corrupt practice was responsible for the under-development and unrest in the state.
  
Talking in Agartala on Wednesday opposition leader of state legislative assembly Ratan Lal Nath alleged that Tripura was sliding downwards in every sector despite huge allocation of funds from Centre.  
  
The central government has initiated several positive steps for developing the state, but unfortunately Tripura government was failed to implement these and blamed the Congress to divert peoples' attention, Mr Nath stated.  
  
Tripura stands last in sectoral development due the misrule of left front government, he alleged.
  
He mentioned that Tripura was 4th in agriculture during early nineties, but it came down 7th position.
