DHARMAPURI: Charging the DMK Government in Tamil Nadu with failure to maintain law and order, actor-politician Vijaykant on Thursday said it was losing credibility.

The bomb attack yesterday on the prime accused in the murder of former DMK Minister Aladi Aruna in Tirunelveli district where DMK's youth wing conference is to be held was a pointer to the state of law and order, the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) founder said.

Referring to the "golden rule" of late Chief Minister M G Ramachandran during 1977-88, he said the people had shunned the DMK during the period and Karunanidhi was 'spending his time by writing stories.'

"Such a time would come back again soon," he said addressing a marriage function of party office-bearer at Palacode.

Attacking the government on the employment front, he said it had not created any new posts and was only filling up the vacancies left by the previous government.
