Two members of Chota Rajan gang arrested

MUZAFFARNAGAR: Two persons, allegedly of the Chota Rajan gang, were arrested in this district on Saturday and a pistol was recovered from their possession, police said.

Acting on a tip-off from the Special Task Force of the Mumbai police, the STF of the Uttar Pradesh police arrested Murad Khan and Salim Sher Khan at Purkazi town when they were on their way to Lucksar, near Hardwar, to buy AK 47 rifles.

The two are involved in several criminal cases in Mumbai, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, police added.
