LUCKNOW: Amidst the Centre's considering the dismissal of Mulayam Singh Yadav government in Uttar Pradesh, ruling Samajwadi Party and its arch rival BSP on Sunday geared to fight it out both in courts as well as on the streets even as the Raj Bhawan is believed to have sought a clarification from state Assembly Speaker on the status of 24 breakaway BSP MLAs.

The BSP, which has called a rally at Ambedkar Maidan here on March one, is also likely to launch an agitation against the Mulayam government to protest its continuance following disqualification of 13 rebel BSP MLAs by the Supreme Court.
The SP, while urging President A P J Abdul Kalam not to give his assent to any recommendation by the union cabinet dismissing the UP government, threatened it would parade its MLAs at the Rashtrapati Bhawan if such a step was taken.
"All options, including the legal one, is open to us...We can parade our MLAs before the President or move the courts...The court of the people is already there for us," SP state general secretary and senior party leader Naresh Agarwal said.
Agarwal rubbished the reported contention of Governor T V Rajeshwar in his report to the Centre that horse-trading could take place if Mulayam government was allowed to prove its majority in the assembly.
The BSP upped the ante by declaring that it would launch a statewide agitation against Congress if the government led by it failed to dismiss Mulayam government.
