Favourite place to de-stress...

There is nothing better than home, so when I feel stressed, I head to my building’s terrace. It is the most open feeling one can get and the view is spectacular! I have had many a professional and press photographers vying to take photos of the Mumbai skyline from our terrace.

Malabar Hill vs. any other neighbourhood in Mumbai...

The neighbourhood of Little Gibbs Roads 1, 2 and 3, is a quiet and peaceful one. It is flanked by the iconic Hanging Gardens and is the greenest area in Malabar Hill. There are plenty of birds around that keep the residents cheerful. Wide and well-structured pavements are helpful to the children and the elderly. Convenience shops and the local post office are a stone’s throw away. And, of course, the Malabar Hill Club is an extension of our home and is a rare advantage!

Rate the safety level of your locality on a scale of 1 to 10...

Without hesitation, I can rate it 10 on 10. We are well looked after by the police and since all stakeholders of my neighbourhood are volunteers of our ALM, they too ensure that we all live in safety.

A food joint you’d recommend...

Being a residential neighbourhood, food joints are completely absent. The Malabar Hill Club is the place to go, considering that most locals are its members.

One person from your neighbourhood who makes your days easier...

It’s quite difficult to identify any one person as I see great support collectively, depending on what is required to be made easier.

One thing you don’t like about your neighbourhood...

Owners allowing their help to walk their dogs out on the roads and not picking up the dog poop. I wonder why so many are callous about their civic duties.

One reason why you’d never move out of your locality...

Being on top of the hill with greenery surrounding us and to be able to enjoy the sea view at the same time.
