Two get six years rigorous imprisonment for gang-rape in Delhi

A Delhi court today sentenced two persons to six years rigorous imprisonment for raping a minor girl two years ago.
    
Additional sessions judge RK Jain held Ramji Paswan, 21, and Babulal Soren, 26, guilty of gang-rape under Section 376 (2)(g) of the IPC and also imposed a fine of Rs100 each on them.Both Paswan and Soren were arrested after a case was registered with Kotwali police station here on a complaint by the parents of the 16-year-old victim on January nine, 2007.
    
The parents of the victim had alleged the two had entered their house on the intervening night of January seven and eight, 2007, and raped her.
