A local boy Mohit Kumar was detected to be swine flu positive by doctors of Sangrur civil hospital Punjab. On being contacted today senior medical officer H S Bali told that the patient complaining of high temperature was brought to hospital.

On his thorough check up he along with other doctors suspected him to be a swine flu patient. The samples of throat sway were sent to PGI Chandigarh where the patient was confirmed positive case of swine flu. Bali said that the patient is kept in complete isolation at his house at Punia Colony under supervision of doctors.

He said that the patient was infected after he came in contact with another swine flu patient during a marriage at Ludhiana.
