A 70-year-old woman Haj pilgrim died in the airport here this morning before taking a flight to Jeddah.
Airport sources said Masuda Bibi, a resident of Khidirpur area here, reached the Haj Centre of the NSC Bose International Airport at about 9.30 pm. She was to take an Air India flight to Jeddah at 12.30 pm.
However, she felt an acute chest pain and died shortly afterwards. Doctors in the Haj centre said she suffered a massive cardiac arrest.
