Four killed as car falls into gorge in Uttarakhand

Four persons were killed when a car in which they were travelling fell into a gorge at Mahalchori area of Chamoli district, police today said.
    
The incident took place late last night when the driver lost control over the vehicle, they said.
    
The deceased have been identified as Naib Tehsildar of Gairsain Tehsil Rooplal (56), Pasi Ram (50), advocate Bahadur Singh Kandari (52) and driver Kishan Singh (40).

Senior administrative and police officials rushed to the spot and Chamoli District Magistrate Neeraj Semwal has ordered a probe into the incident, they said.
