ShareAhmedabad, Ahmedabad: A police constable who was posted at the police headquarters in Shahibaugh created a scene at Krishnanagar, Naroda. The constable identified as Sandipsinh Jodha was under the influence of alcohol when the incident occurred. Sources said that on Friday evening Jodha who was drunk began misbehaving with the people on the streets. He also allegedly assaulted some passers-by.
Later, the passers-by informed three traffic constable posted in the area about the incident. When the constables tried to control Jodha, he threatened them of dire consequences.Meanwhile, someone informed the Naroda police about the incident.
The three traffic constable later took him to Naroda police station. In the police station too Jodha created a ruckus and even took off his clothes.
Later, the Naroda police inquired about Jodha and came to know that he has been posted as an arms constable at police headquarter. The Naroda police have registered a case against Jodha under various sections of the Prohibition Act.KB Khant, police inspector Naroda police station said the police have arrested Jodha.
