Cloud cover in the morning hours spread hope of a rainy Sunday for Delhiites today but showers eluded the city yet another day.
 
Monsoon, which had hit the national capital on July five, has been playing hide and seek for the past several days.
 
The weatherman, however, has predicted rains tomorrow with the temperature oscillating between 27 and 35 degree Celsius. "It would be a generally cloudy sky tomorrow with one or two spells of rains," a MeT department official said.
 
The national capital has received 223.1 mm of rains after the onset of monsoon.
 
The maximum was recorded at 34.9 degree Celsius and minimum 28 degrees, both one degree above normal.
 
The humidity was on a higher side with the maximum recorded at 88% and minimum 66%.
