Anna Hazare watches movie 'Welcome Back Gandhi' in Chennai

Veteran social activist Anna Hazare watched the screening of the movie Welcome Back Gandhi in Chennai on Sunday.

The movie, which is the Hindi version of the Tamil film Mudhalvar Mahatma, has been directed by A Balakrishnan and deals on how Gandhi would react to the current situation in India if he returns.

74-year-old Anna Hazare, who has threatened to go on an indefinite fast from December 27 at the Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi if a strong Lokpal Bill is not passed in the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament, later in the day address his supporters here in an endeavour to ensure that the anti-graft legislation is passed without any further delay.

Meanwhile, the Union Cabinet is expected to meet in New Delhi this evening to discuss the proposed legislation before it is introduced in Parliament on Monday.
