A platform for youths to discuss social issues and promote awareness.
For all those who love to blog and discuss stuff online, there's a new youth oriented website which enables you to post content on social issues, discuss on a question-answer basis, share photos, videos and links on the spot called WWYDW (What Will You Do When),designed by E-Lightening Technologies, a website designing company.
Originally, this company was a college venture in Pune started in December 2010, and brought to Mumbai just last year in December, and is a small initiative of 5 enthusiastic entrepreneurs.
The owner and founder of E-Lightening Technologies, Faizan Ansari and his employees came up with the idea of this website while having a discussion about social issues amongst themselves.
This website's main aim is to involve the youth in the social issues of our country and create an awareness about them - be it; corruption, a woman’s status, degradation of democracy, poverty, overpopulation, illiteracy, racial/sexual bias, inequality, child marriage, latest issues and happenings.......the works. This site covers it all.
"We are trying to reach out to the major crowd of our nation, i.e. the youth, as we are the future of the country", says 23-year-old Faizan Ansari when asked about the idea of his initiative.
"Moreover, by reaching to more people and discussing all these issues only will we be able to achieve some kind of unity which in-turn, will lead to a better nation."
Apart from this, if the website is a hit then the main aim for the future is to use the site for fund raising for various social campaigns.
Well, all in all, this website seems to be a great and genuine initiative for a fresh start towards some kind of betterment.
