Will behead anyone who raises anti-India slogans, says West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh

Ghosh was addressing a meeting in Birbhum where clashes took place over a student's Facebook post.

West Bengal's BJP chief Dilip Ghosh on Wednesday threatened to behead those raising anti-national slogans, reports NDTV.

"Anyone who raises slogans of 'Pakistan Zindabad' will be chopped by six inches from top," he said.

The incident took place when Ghosh addressing a meeting in Birbhum where clashes took place over a student's Facebook post.

A mob attacked the Illambazar police station demanding that the accused be handed over to them. Later they put up a road blockade on NH-60.  Sixteen persons, including a CPI(M) leader, have been arrested in connection with the attack.

Earlier this week, two other political leaders were accused of making inflammatory speeches. 

Union Minister Ram Shanker Katheria was in trouble after speaking on the killing of an Agra VHP leader.

"This conspiracy that is being hatched against the Hindu community, we have to be alert to recognise it and strengthen ourselves. We will have to fight it because if we do not do it now, today we have lost one Arun, tomorrow it could be another Arun...the killers should also go, we have to set such an example," he said.Shanker Katheria was in trouble after speaking on the killing of an Agra VHP leader.
