Senior JD(U) leader and Bihar Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh today downplayed ongoing war of words between the RJD and JD(U) leaders on various issues and claimed that the contours of the alliance including seat sharing will be decided by the top leaders.

Whatever leaders of the grand alliance are saying against each other at this moment is immaterial as it is the top leaders of the respected parties who will be taking a call on alliance for the Assembly polls and seat sharing, Singh, the Road Construction department minister, who is considered close to the former chief minister Nitish Kumar, said.

On the BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi taking frequent jibe at the former chief minister for running the Jitan Ram Manjhi government through remote control, the RCD minister said that it was a known fact Kumar has been guiding the JD(U) government ever since he quit as the chief minister in the wake of debacle in the general elections.

The former chief minister is not remote controlling the Manjhi government, but guiding and mentoring it... the incumbent JD(U) government runs in continuity with that of one led by Kumar whose agendas and vision are being implemented to take Bihar enroute to development and prosperity, Singh said.
