Pregnant nurse from Kerala stabbed to death in Oman

A nurse from Kerala who was five months pregnant was reportedly found dead at her flat in Oman. 

Chikku Robert, 28-year-old nurse was working at a hospital in Salalah for the past two years. She was living there with her husband Linson, who worked at the same hospital. Chikku and Linson had been married for seven months. 

According to reports, Chikku was stabbed to death when she tried to resist a robbery. 

When Chikku did not report to her duty at 11 pm on Wednesday night, her husband went to check on her and found her lying dead in a pool of blood. A Pakistani nation, who was Chikku and Linson's neighbour, has reportedly been held in connection with the incident.
