PM Modi, Nawaz Sharif agree to expedite 26/11 Mumbai attack trial

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif, who held bilateral talks in Ufa, Russia, have agreed to discuss means and ways for the expedition of the 26/11 Mumbai attack case trial.

Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar shared the information.

"Both sides agreed to discuss ways and means to expedite the Mumbai case trial, including additional information like providing voice samples," he said, after the Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan finished their bilateral talks. The talks between Prime Minister Modi and Sharif took place on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.
