Over the last 24 hours, Thane has reportedly received 143 mm of rainfall and heavy rains are likely to continue in the district over the next 24 hours.

Heavy rains in Thane district of Maharashtra have inundated various parts of the area, bringing normal life to an abrupt halt.
Several low-lying areas in Thane's Bhiwandi town were submerged in water, forcing the authorities to shut down schools.
Commuters were left stranded as public transport, including buses and trains, were disrupted due to water logging of roads and railway tracks.
Over the last 24 hours, Thane has reportedly received 143 mm of rainfall and heavy rains are likely to continue in the district over the next 24 hours.
