Mariyam Zakaria makes Cameron Diaz her teacher!

Newcomer Mariyam Zakaria, who made a debut early this year with Agent Vinod is now gearing up for her first full-fledged role in Bollywood. The Dil Tera Muft Ka girl will be seen playing the lead opposite Aftab Shivdasani in Grand Masti. The film that boasts of an ensemble cast including Vivek Oberoi is the sequel to the earlier Inder Kumar hit Masti.

About Mariyam’s role in the film, an insider reveals that she will be seen playing a teacher in the film, and a naughty one at that. “She is playing a teacher on the lines of the role that Cameron Diaz had played in the film Bad Teacher. So, she is sexy and naughty too,” informs the insider.

And to perfect the role, Mariyam even watched the film several times to take lead from the Hollywood hottie. “Yes, she studied Cameron’s body language to do justice to the role of a bad teacher. Though the role is not completely based on Cameron’s character in the film, there are similarities,” adds the insider.

Mariyam herself shares that it was fun to play a role like this one. Since this is actually her first full-fledged role, she is making sure that she gives it her best shot. “And she is very excited about it too, as the film is a sequel to a hit film,” says a source close to Mariyam.
