Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8: Shahid Kapoor quitting because of Mira Rajput?

Shahid Kapoor turned heads as he took the judges' seat on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 this year. Replacing Madhuri Dixit, Sasha brought a bundle of energy with him on the show. And he got in rave review for his small screen avatar. But reports suggest that the actor will bid adieu to the show very soon.

As per recent reports, Shahid was signed only for eight episodes and now, Shahid has decided to take a leave from the show once he finishes shooting eight episodes. While many reasons are doing the rounds, the real reason behind this is certainly Sasha's wife Mira Rajput.

Shahid recently got married to Mira amidst much fanfare but he could not give his beautiful wife time, given his prior commitments. Shahid also had to cancel their honeymoon plans, as he was busy with JDJ 8 and Shaandaar which will soon start its promotions. The actor wants to spend some quality time with Mira and hence decided to discontinue after eight weeks.

Also, contrary to reports doing the rounds, we hear that not Sasha but it would be Karan Johar who will be leaving the show after eight episodes. Karan will soon start shooting with Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for his next directorial venture- Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and won't have time to shoot for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
