Maintain status quo: Karnataka HC

The high court, on Thursday, observed that status quo should be maintained in the civic amenity site and park between 100ft wide road and the service road in front of plot numbers 304, 346, 347, 353, 614,754-1577 and 645 in Kundalahalli, Chinnapanahalli and Kurubarahalli of Bangalore south taluk till further orders.

BDA is expected to ensure that no construction work is carried out in the area.  In case there is any transaction pertaining to lands which are not alienable as per the approved layout and sanctioned plan, BDA is expected to take legal action, the division bench said.
